Diary comics can be whatever you want them to be!
Hello! I’m Josh. I’m a cartoonist and filmmaker based in Cardiff. I’ve been making comics for the last eight years, and I’ve put together a set of videos to walk you through the process of making your own diary comics.
Diary comics are short, autobiographical comics about an event in the creator’s life.
They can be whatever you want them to be – funny, sad, bizarre, serious – and they’re a great way of expressing yourself, processing events and putting your thoughts on the page in a visual form.
All you’ll need for this activity is a pencil, pen, ruler, eraser and some paper, so it’s really easy to get involved. Plus, it’s fun! I hope you enjoy making your own diary comics – maybe you’ll start making it a habit.
