This tool was developed as part of Cultural Cwtsh, which was an online creative wellbeing hub for the health and care workforce in Wales, created by the Arts Council of Wales in collaboration with artists across the country.
In partnership with the Arts Council of Wales, we’re excited to share this mental wellbeing tool, alongside with many other creative resources, with everyone in Wales!
Hey! My name is Sara Hartel. I’m a non-binary theatre-maker who used to work in care. I specialise in a genre I call ‘game theatre’ that merges performance with life gaming.
Gaming has had a massive rise recently and I’m not surprised: gaming is awesome for making us feel more optimistic, content and better connected to our friends and family who play with us.
In my videos, I explain the notion of gamifying your life. How can you transform your everyday work routine into a series of quests that earn you experience points and let you rise through different levels. Why? Because gamifying our life makes it more fun and more rewarding.
In order to play ‘A Hero’s Work’, I recommend using the character sheet template I have created. But feel free to create your own or customise the one I have created. Whatever works best for you!
Enjoy!
