This tool was developed as part of Cultural Cwtsh, which was an online creative wellbeing hub for the health and care workforce in Wales, created by the Arts Council of Wales in collaboration with artists across the country.

In partnership with the Arts Council of Wales, we’re excited to share this mental wellbeing tool, alongside with many other creative resources, with everyone in Wales!

“Stitching is seriously good for your soul!”

Hello, my name is Haf, and I work as textile artist from my studio in Penarth.

After completing a degree in textiles, I went on to work in many creative fields in Australia, New Zealand and London. I returned to Wales in 2015 and since then my career as a freelance artist has developed significantly.

I see a strong link between my creative practice and looking after my wellbeing.

I hope that I have communicated this in these films created by Heledd Wyn.

Stitching is seriously good for your soul!

Enjoy…

Haf
