Why is looking after your mental wellbeing important to you?

If I’m keeping on top of my mental wellbeing, I can make the most out of the things I care about: my family and friends, my work and my hobbies.

What do you do to protect and improve your mental wellbeing?

The biggest single thing I do to boost my mental wellbeing is to get outside at least once a day, either for a walk, a run or a cycle. Even if I don’t feel like it beforehand, I never regret doing it. I always return home feeling better than when I left.

What is one thing you have started doing in the last year that’s helped your mental wellbeing?

Setting aside time for my daughter to read to me.
